TOP Soccer provides a development-first soccer experience featuring professional non-parent coaches, a seasonal set schedule, and the flexibility to play multiple sports without overcommitting to one sport at a young age.

Durham's Newest Soccer Club

Most club soccer programs demand a year-round commitment with rotating schedules, endless tournaments, and pressure to specialize at a young age. At TOP Soccer, all of our programs feature a set seasonal schedule that makes it easier for kids to play multiple sports and not over-commit at a young age. Our model focuses on providing engaging, professionally-run programs delivered by qualified non-parent coaches and a full-time technical team. The main TOP Soccer season runs during the Spring (Apr-Jun) and Fall (Sep-Oct), so there is no summer commitment for players in our Recreational or Academy programs until U13+. As players continue to develop, we add Competitive Teams at U13+, offering more advanced players the opportunity to train and play during a full April - October season, including festivals, league play, games and tournaments.

Our pathway grows with every child from ages 4 through competitive team play. Every program follows strict Ontario Soccer LTPD principles, guided by our Play · Teach · Compete Model, and designed by our full-time technical team. All TOP Soccer sessions are led by qualified, professional non-parent coaches, many with professional or collegiate playing and coaching experience. We focus on building confident, skilled players who actually enjoy the game and aren't burned out by the time they hit their teens.

Our Multi-Sport Model ensures that the TOP Soccer schedule fits seamlessly into a well-rounded athletic experience alongside TOP Hockey and TOP Lacrosse. TOP Soccer programs are designed to minimize conflicts with TOP Hockey and TOP Lacrosse programs during the same season, allowing kids to play at the recreational or competitive level with very few scheduling conflicts throughout the season.

All programs feature a predictable seasonal schedule that provides unmatched visiblity on your sports commitments for the whole season. From recreational to Academy, families know exactly when they're playing, every week, with very few changes throughout the season.

All programs feature qualified, non-parent coaches who develop positive relationships with players and follow modern coaching standards. Our coaches include former professional and collegiate athletes, teachers and educators, and enthusiastic mentors passionate about giving back to the next generation.
