Development Program

Program Overview

TOP Soccer Development Programs provide an engaging and competitive soccer experience led by enthusiastic and passionate certified coaches. Programs are created with skill development in mind; providing a weekly skills session (weeknight) and a weekly festival (weekend) designed to maximize development time and ensure players can apply new skills into a game-setting. Depending on the session and age group, players are split into colour-coordinated teams based on game formats and roster sizes outlined by Ontario Soccer. One friend request per player is offered but not guaranteed. Throughout the season teams may be updated to provide appropriate competition for all players.

Sessions are designed using the Play · Teach · Compete Model where players learn through game-based activities, receive focused coaching on core skills, and apply their learning in competitive matches. This approach maximizes engagement while developing decision-making, spacing, attacking, and defending in realistic game scenarios.
