Development Program

Seasonal skills and games programs for boys & girls born 2016-2020

Program Overview

TOP Soccer Development Programs provide an engaging and competitive soccer experience led by enthusiastic and passionate certified coaches. Every program is built with skill development in mind, giving players focused coaching on core skills and plenty of game time to put those skills to work.

Age Groups

  • Fundamentals (2018-2020 birth years): fun, game-based sessions that build ball mastery, movement skills, and confidence with the ball.
  • Learn-to-Train (2016-2017 birth years): a step up in technical detail, with more emphasis on decision-making, spacing, attacking, and defending.

How Sessions Run

All sessions are designed using our Play · Teach · Compete model. Players learn through game-based activities, receive focused coaching on core skills, and apply what they learn in small-sided and competitive games. Players are grouped based on game formats and roster sizes outlined by Ontario Soccer. One friend request per player is offered but not guaranteed, and groups may be adjusted through the season to keep competition appropriate for everyone.
