TOP Hockey offers recreational programs and competitive rep teams for boys and girls, featuring professional coaches, set seasonal schedules, and the flexibility to play multiple sports with very few conflicts.

Durham's Newest Hockey Club

TOP Hockey is the newest competitive hockey program in Durham Region, offering competitive teams and recreational programs for boys and girls to learn, grow, and excel on the ice. Our programs feature dedicated and professional coaching staff, local rinks, and a proven curriculum focused on skill development and game-based learning through our Play · Teach · Compete Model. Starting with our youngest players in Learn-to-Play and continuing into our Development Program and eventually Rep Teams, we create a pathway for every player to improve their skills, love the game, and develop leadership both on and off the ice.

The primary goal at TOP Hockey is to provide each player with a challenging development environment to improve their skills, learn the game, and eventually open post-secondary hockey opportunities. All TOP Hockey programs feature qualified professional non-parent coaches supported by full-time Technical Staff and a full-time administrative team. Our programs across Durham Region are hosted at local rinks in Whitby and Brooklin, meaning more time on the ice and less time in the car.

Our Multi-Sport Model ensures that the TOP Hockey schedule fits seamlessly into a well-rounded athletic experience alongside TOP Soccer and TOP Lacrosse. The TOP Hockey schedule is designed to minimize conflicts with TOP Soccer and TOP Lacrosse programs during the same season, allowing kids to play at the recreational or competitive level with very few scheduling conflicts throughout the season.
